To be student supporters

The Office for Students with Disabilities recruits student supporters who support students with disabilities. They are registered as student supporter and become a member of 'AIR", a group of student supporters. The student supporters and OSD try to ensure the same academic environment for all students regardless of having disabilities or not together.

Disability services are various such as mobility assistance, assistance for use of library, loan of special adaptive equipment and assistive devices, real-time captioning by handwriting and PC, etc. We provide disability services based on needs of students with disabilities on an equal basis with students without disabilities. The OSD holds lectures and other opportunities for acquiring knowledge on disability and skills after registration. You can feel easy to resister as a student supporter because there are many opportunities to learn and practice skills even if you do not have any experiences of support for people with disabilities.

Many students register as student supporters. Some students are freshmen; others are students in graduate school. Their majors are also different. You will support when you have no classes. Some students provide academic support for many hours; others are less. It is OK! We will appreciate if you could register as student supporters. cooperate our activities. Your support activities are paid 1,000 yen per an hour. If you have an interest, please contact us!
